Understanding Endorsement Process
The FCA is a governing body that credentials ministers, churches, and ministries through a trusted endorsement process, either by an Endorsing Church (EC) or through the Two-Minister Endorsement Model (2EM).
For more than a century, the Fellowship has been strengthened through a simple but powerful principle: trusted ministers and churches recognizing God’s call in others and advocating on their behalf. Through the endorsement of an established church or two credentialed ministers, new ministers and ministries are welcomed into a community that provides legal and ministerial credentialing, spiritual covering, meaningful connections, and opportunities for encouragement, support, and ongoing equipping.
Because credentialing is both a privilege and a responsibility, the endorsement process is approached with care and integrity. Endorsers serve as faithful gatekeepers, helping ensure that those entering the Fellowship have demonstrated character, calling, and readiness for ministry. This commitment preserves the strength of the Fellowship while opening the door for the next generation of Spirit-led leaders to serve effectively and faithfully.
Understanding Registraton Process
The registration process is led by the Endorser(s), who are responsible for both evaluating and supporting the prospective minister throughout the application journey. Prior to endorsement, the Endorser(s) should invest time in building a relationship with the applicant and carefully assess their character, calling, ministry experience, and readiness for credentialing. The Endorser(s) must also verify that all FCA membership requirements have been met, including biblical studies requirements or qualification through the approved self-study pathway. Once these requirements have been confirmed, the Endorser(s) should assist the applicant in completing the registration process and ensure that all required forms, supporting documents, and fees are submitted in a timely manner.
