Steven Paulson

Meet Our Missionary

Rev. Steven Paulson is the president emeritus of Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada, where he devoted his life to providing others with the opportunity to change theirs. Now a missionary for Global Teen Challenge, Steve is the regional director for North America/Canada.

As an ordained minister with the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies, Steve is dedicated to helping put the hope of the gospel within reach of those struggling with addiction. He has served on the board of governors at the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba (AFM) and presently serves as a board member for Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada, Adult & Teen Challenge British Columbia, Adult & Teen Challenge USA, Winnipeg’s Lighthouse Mission and Freedom Outreach in Denare Beach. In 2012 he was awarded the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal by the former federal justice minister for his work.

Brother Steve has been married to his wife Margaret for 45 years. Together they have four children and six grandchildren and split their time between their new home in Niverville, Manitoba and cottage in Red Lake, Ontario.

Missionary Work

Serving Field: Canada/North America, Asia Pacific, Eurasia, Southern Asia, Europe, Latin America & Caribbean
Website: https://www.globaltc.org

My role at Global Teen Challenge is to serve Adult & Teen Challenge leaders in Canada and around the world with staff training and personal development, strategic planning and implementing accreditation standards.

Current Projects

As Covid-19 restrictions allow, we are working to establish strategic planning and accreditation intensives in each of the seven regions served by Global Teen Challenge.

How Can You Partner?

1. There is power in united prayer, and my number one request is for prayer coverage!
2. If you’re interested in serving on a short-term missions trip at a Teen Challenge centre, please connect with me and let me know your preference of country/region.

Vision and Future Plans

The mission of Global Teen Challenge is to put hope within reach of every addict. There are approximately 27 countries currently looking for new discipleship programs and we continue to seek God’s direction to expand our reach. A personal burden of mine is to see a Teen Challenge centre established in Canada’s far north.

Resources to Share with Others

Adult & Teen Challenge is enthusiastic and intentional about sharing resources with other ministries, including discipleship curriculum, staff training material and a support network. Find out more at https://staff.teenchallengeusa.org and let me know if you have any questions.
