Executive Director

Terry Thiessen is a fierce lover of Jesus. He has been married to his fantastic wife Sylvia for 27 years. They live in Winnipeg and have one grown son, Dawson.

God tapped him years ago for ministry in the body of Christ. Terry has served in many forms of ministry over the past 25 years, including church planting, elder leadership and pastoring in both the local church and addiction recovery ministry. He loves leading worship, preaching, and communicating God’s word creatively and in unforgettable ways.

Many years ago, Terry fell in love with the FCA. He considers it a distinct honour and privilege to serve as the Executive Director, and enjoys using his relational leadership style to build incredible connections with all of our regions.

In addition to travelling with Sylvia, he loves woodworking and hockey cards.
